About Me
✨ A Life of Creativity
From music and acting to drawing landscapes, designing clothes, and capturing moments through photography — I’ve always been drawn to the arts. Along the way, I’ve even taken photos for clothing brands, combining my love for fashion and photography.
📚 Early Career Steps
After high school, I dreamed of college, but financial challenges got in the way. With a 3.4 GPA and low SAT scores, I chose work over waiting. My grandmother helped me land my first job at Annie Sez, where I quickly became a key holder while still pursuing creative passions.
I moved on to Mandees and Joyce Leslie, leading teams of 4–8 employees, building my merchandising skills, and learning the business side of fashion. Then came Lord & Taylor, where I went from register work to merchandising select areas, eventually working as a merchandiser for major brands like:
- Eileen Fisher
- Calvin Klein
- Ralph Lauren
- Not Your Daughter’s Jeans
- Lilly Pulitzer
💐 The Birth of TK Fashion
Back in high school, a business class inspired me to design my first perfume bottle. That’s when the name TK Fashion was born — a vision to offer clothing, perfumes, accessories, and beauty products.
In 2017, that dream took shape with T.Kirkland.Kollection. The pandemic slowed things down, but I refused to let it end the journey.
🎨 Today’s Vision
Now, in 2025, I’m relaunching with a bold, creative energy — combining fashion, poetry, and design into one brand. Whether it’s a statement hoodie, a thought-provoking poem, or a unique perfume, every product reflects my passion and my story.
💖 Family as Inspiration
I became a mom at 28, and my two children have become part of my brand — often modeling for my kids’ clothing. You’ll see their joyful faces in product photos, adding a personal touch to every piece.
T.Kirkland.Kollection isn’t just a store — it’s my art, my journey, and my family.
